New news!

So yeah i know im horrible about updating this, but not a lot of people even follow me or are aware so i guess it doesnt matter.

anyway.. so i guess its been nearly a year since i last updated this. heh cuz its almost my birthday again! and vacation time is coming up again! ;] i think im going to orlando this year with my brother and his wife and my nephew :) a whole disney experience for the wee lad. should be fun.

On the music front, my goal for this year was to FINALLY get my album recorded. and i'll have you know i started off REALLY strong! I organized all my lyrics and songs and have about 20-30 songs ready to be recorded that just need some additional music parts n such and theyre ready. I just cant bring myself to record the the music parts. In a perfect world a good guitarist would just show up and say 'Hey i can lay down your music tracks for you in good quality', then some drummer, maybe keyboardist, back up vocalists would also join in and all i would have to do is lay my vocals and approve the final cut of it. WHY CANT THAT HAPPEN? :(

Anywho so yeah i DID write a new song, and im trying to get my Facebook Music page known so if you use the facebooks which most people do (except me) LIKE me on there: http://tiny.cc/radrico i dont have a short url for the page yet so im using that, so if that wears off or something just search "A BEAUTIFUL MESS" and its an artist page.

I also have a NEW SONG i just recently wrote a few days ago up there! Just click the music part on the page and hear a demo. :)

Vacation and B-day coming up.

So July is 1/4 the way through almost and come August 1st I get to go on vacation. Last year I hit up Las Vegas and it was a blastie. This year im going to St Petes Beach in Florida. Hopefully its fun. I want to visit other countries SO bad, but I fear being lost in translation amongst other things ;/ someday...

Anyway August 7th marks my birfday. I write this all the time it seems like, but remember when Birthdays were like THE best? Everyone treated you like a King etc... and the whole day was about you and you got gifts etc.. thats awesome. Anymore its just 'another day'. I wish it wasnt so. I still have hope though. Im compiling a wishlist of things I want this year. My main problem is with family and stuff everything I want is high priced, cuz its usually 'techy' stuff.. BUT the past couple years even family has stopped getting bday gifts ;/ so that sucks. Ill probably end up finally just buying stuff I want for myself. Ive been lurking for good deals to just buy for myself.

Anyway so far I have the following:

Things that CANNOT be bought are: LeBron James + Chris Bosh to sign with the Bulls. Id be ok with Wade and Bosh too or Lebron and Boozer or Wade and Boozer. But in that order. I just hope we dont get nothing. Im ready for the Bulls to win some more championships! If we get Lebron + Bosh though and Jerry Reinsdorf doesnt go cheap and resigns D-Rose & Noah then thats a Dynasty for the next 4-6 years. <3333

HTC EVO 4G (Sprint) new phone. I have an HTC Touch which is like 4-5 years old or something that I got for free from my sister, but the reaction time seems super slow. They are like riiiiiiiidiculously priced at like 600 or something like that unless u extend ur contract then u can get them for a lil under 200 ;/

uh i think thats all that comes to mind right now aside from things that wont be out until a month or 2 after my birfday.

also video.... im thinking of doing an original on my next YT upload. might be a oldie that most ppl havnt heard, since i havnt put a new song together in quite awhile. i may get bored and do a random cover too though. we'll see. okie im outtie..

radrico & virginie : The Temper Trap - Sweet Disposition (Duet/Cover)

So finally got an update for you guys that I was talking about. I wanted to take a 'backseat' with V because our first duet she picked the song and pretty much gave me the lead part :P. She did the lead vocals & rythm and I did the other guitar parts and the editing and the parts I sing of course.

Im considering doing some kind of video blog video, but im not sure. I havnt done one in quite sometime since I decided to just make my channel for entertainment purposes. Maybe I wont and I'll just update here or something.

BUT I did want to thank Jim from 'mathslideshow.com' for his kind donation of $25 bucks for my guitar tutorials! Thats awesome! Its always nice when someone actually gives back yanno?

Anywho... I was going to do another video right after , but I seriously spent about 5-6 hrs all together finishing up the editing , mixing down, uploading meh... I hate all that tedious stuff. I guess I just dont have the patience that some people do with their lil cut aways etc.. I just like to do it raw and put it out most the time. Sure like most people i watch over and over and criticize myself and think it sucks afterwards most of the time, but still :)

Aside from that, unless I get a random spurt like my last cover, my next cover ill be doing is from Reliant K. Ive been playing it off and on for the past couple years so figured id do it..... sometime.

The birth of the blog.

So what is up guys? I decided to make this for my YouTube basically and might do some blogging here and there. Nothing too major just random thoughts if anything.

So to start this off, as I mentioned in my latest video below already. I want to thank Shelby T. for her kind donation towards upgrading my camera. I was using my webcam on my newish laptop but lately the video wouldnt match the voice and then I had to deal with the voice getting low for no reason then back to normal ugh.. Anyway Shelby gave a kind donation of $40 which pretty much covered the memory card for the camera so thank you so much!

Its crazy because my most 'popular' videos are my guitar videos and i have it spammed EVERYWHERE for donations for the help and not one person has done so. But I announce that I would like some donations towards getting a new camera and boom $40! So yeah... I regret not waiting and dishing out the $200 for the camera i got - Canon S80i i think? (its awesome! shoots in 720 HD and is tiiiny.) But I just assumed/hoped that people would continue to donate a 1 -10$ here or something, so I just bought it. Because I REALLY dont 'need' it. I bought it pretty much for the viewers. I dont take many pictures or do videos other than YT so yeah.

Anyway, just really wanted to show my appreciation to Shelby T. (Sorry I dont know her YT name!) And hope that maybe some others would do the same!
